if nothing else, watch this film and focus on the relationship between joseph and the narrator. that dynamic is unreal. i wrote so many rants about it.
thinking about how it must feel to go through perhaps the worst things that could possibly happen to anyone in history and know that the only person who has your back is some fucking cunty english lesbian who keeps talking shit about you but also she knows exactly how you will die because she is very openly omniscient. she keeps materialising cocktails out of think air whilst you experience intense familial trauma in real time but sometimes she lets you consult her magical omniscience book.
